Yes. LARET is deliberately aimed at adults who appreciate peace, privacy and a personal atmosphere.
8. From what age are guests welcome?
Guests aged 17 and over are welcome. The hotel is operated exclusively as an adults-only property in order to provide guests with a peaceful and undisturbed atmosphere.
9. Is the hotel suitable for couples?
Yes. The combination of an adults-only concept, personal atmosphere, alpine setting, culinary enjoyment and individually designed rooms makes LARET particularly appealing to couples.
10. Is the hotel quiet?
Yes, the hotel is considered exceptionally peaceful. This tranquillity is one of the central elements of the hotel's concept. The hotel is located in the quiet village of Laret, slightly away from the busier centre of Samnaun-Dorf.
11. Are children allowed?
No. Children are not permitted. The hotel follows a strict adults-only concept. The minimum age for guests is 17.
12. Are pets allowed?
No. Pets are not permitted at LARET.

LARET has a total of 14 individually designed rooms and suites, divided into six different categories:

- 2 rooms with natural stone walls

14. Which rooms have a balcony?
11 of the 14 rooms at LARET have their own balcony with views of the Samnaun mountains. The Wellness Suite and the two Alpine Historic Rooms do not have a balcony.>
15. Which suite has a sauna in the room?
The Nature SPA Suite has its own Finnish sauna and also features a large balcony.
16. Which suite has an infrared cabin in the room?
The Wellness Suite has its own infrared cabin for two people in the room.
17. Which rooms are suitable for couples?
As LARET is exclusively designed for adults (adults-only from age
17), all 14 rooms and suites are perfectly suited to couples.
18. What is included in the room rate?
The room rate at LARET usually includes the following services and amenities:
- Gourmet breakfast buffet featuring regional Swiss products
- Fresh, partly homemade bread
- Egg dishes and local specialities
- Multi-course gourmet dinner with a choice of dishes at the Panorama Dining Restaurant
- Access to the wellness area, with private use available by reservation
- Spa set with bathrobe and sauna towels

CULINARY
19. Does LARET Private Boutique Hotel have a restaurant?
Yes. Panorama Dining serves breakfast and dinner in a room offering expansive views of the Samnaun mountains. The restaurant is exclusively open to LARET hotel guests.
20. What is Panorama Dining?
Panorama Dining is LARET's special restaurant area, featuring eleven tables and a large floor-to-ceiling glass façade offering panoramic views of the Samnaun mountains.
21. Is there a rustic restaurant at LARET?
Yes. LARET also features a rustic dining area. In addition to the modern Panorama Dining restaurant, the hotel has a traditional old farmhouse parlour that has remained in its original condition since 1948, creating a particularly rustic and cosy atmosphere.
22. What is served in the evening?
As part of the half-board arrangement, the current offering includes a varied five-course dinner with a choice of dishes. The meal begins with homemade bread and is accompanied by a carefully selected range of wines and spirits.
23. Who is the chef at LARET?
Host Christian Metz personally takes charge of the kitchen and is the Chef de Cuisine.
24. Who is responsible for the service at LARET?
Host Cornelia Metz personally oversees both breakfast and evening service. Thanks to her extensive knowledge of wine, she can recommend the perfect wine for every guest.
25. Does LARET have a wine list?
Yes. Due to LARET's location in the border triangle of Switzerland, Austria and Italy, all wines on offer come exclusively from these three countries. A large selection of white and red wines comes from the Bündner Herrschaft wine-growing region.
