1. What is LARET private Boutique Hotel?
LARET private Boutique Hotel is a small, privately run adults-only hotel in Laret, near Samnaun. It combines individually designed rooms and suites, alpine tranquillity, genuine hospitality and culinary enjoyment.

2. Is LARET an adults-only hotel?
Yes. LARET welcomes guests aged 17 and over and is deliberately designed for adults who appreciate peace, privacy and a personal atmosphere.

3. Who runs LARET?
LARET has been run by Cornelia and Christian Metz since 1994. Cornelia Metz is the fourth generation of the owning family.

4. Is LARET suitable for couples?
Yes. The combination of an adults-only concept, personal atmosphere, alpine surroundings, culinary enjoyment and individually designed rooms makes LARET particularly appealing to couples.

5. How many rooms and suites does LARET have?
LARET has a total of 14 rooms, including 12 double rooms and 2 suites.

6. Where is LARET located?
LARET is located in the village of Laret, part of the municipality of Samnaun in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland, at an altitude of around 1,750 metres.

7. What are the check-in and check-out times?
Your room is available from 2:00 pm on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, the room is available until 11:00 am.

8. Are pets allowed?
No. Unfortunately, LARET does not accommodate pets.

9. Are parking spaces available?
Yes. Outdoor parking spaces are available free of charge for the duration of your stay. Garage parking spaces can be reserved with your booking and cost CHF 15.00 per vehicle per night.

10. Does LARET offer electric vehicle charging stations?
Yes. Hotel guests can charge their electric vehicles in the underground car park using a Tesla Wall Connector (22 kW) or a Type 2 Wallbox (11 kW). A flat rate of CHF 25.00 per charging session applies.

11. Does LARET have a restaurant?
Yes. Panorama Dining serves breakfast and dinner in a setting offering spectacular views of the Samnaun mountains. The restaurant is exclusively available to LARET hotel guests.

12. What is Panorama Dining?
Panorama Dining is LARET’s distinctive restaurant area, featuring eleven tables and a generous floor-to-ceiling glass façade offering panoramic views of the Samnaun mountains.

11. What is served in the evening?
As part of the half-board package, the current offering includes a varied five-course menu with a choice of dishes, starting with homemade bread and accompanied by a carefully selected range of wines and spirits.

12. Who is the chef at LARET?
Host Christian Metz personally takes care of the cooking and is the Chef de Cuisine.

13. Who is responsible for the service at LARET?
Host Cornelia Metz personally oversees both breakfast and evening service. Thanks to her extensive knowledge of wine, she is able to recommend the perfect wine to complement each guest’s preferences and meal.

14. Does LARET have an extensive wine list?
Yes. Due to LARET’s location in the tri-border region of Switzerland, Austria and Italy, all wines served are exclusively sourced from these three countries. The selection includes a wide range of white and red wines from the Bündner Herrschaft wine-growing region.

15. Can you enjoy a skiing holiday at LARET?
Yes. LARET is located in Samnaun and is ideally suited for winter holidays, skiing and snowboarding in the Silvretta Arena Samnaun-Ischgl.

16. Is there a ski shuttle?
Yes. During the 2026/27 winter season, LARET offers a private shuttle service to the valley station of the Silvretta Arena Samnaun-Ischgl. The journey by minibus, which accommodates up to eight people, takes approximately six minutes. In addition, the public ski bus stops directly in front of the hotel and runs hourly throughout the day.

17. Can you access the ski area directly from LARET?
This will be possible from November 2027. The new 10-person Laret-Champs-Muller gondola lift, currently under construction, is scheduled to begin operating then. The valley station will be located approximately 120 metres from the hotel and can be easily reached on skis. The journey to the mountain station will take around 11 minutes.

18. How large is the ski area?
The Silvretta Arena Samnaun/Ischgl offers snow sports enthusiasts an exceptional experience: one of the finest ski areas in the Alps, with 239 kilometres of pistes and 45 modern lifts and cable cars spanning Switzerland and Austria.

19. Can you ski out from LARET?
Yes. Piste No. 60 takes you down to a point very close to the hotel. From there, it is approximately 120 metres on foot to LARET.

20. How long is the winter season at LARET?
The 2026/27 winter season at LARET and in the Silvretta Arena Samnaun-Ischgl begins on 26 November 2026 and ends after 158 days on 2 May 2027.

21. What can you do in summer?
Samnaun offers a wide range of activities, including hiking, biking, nature experiences and mountain railway excursions. In summer, LARET specifically positions itself as an ideal starting point for hiking and biking adventures.
